Velika nam je čast pozvati Vas na tri seminara u organizaciji Centra Proventus. Seminare će održati edukatorice iz Italije i Amerike. One su stručnjakinje iz područja rada s djecom i obitelji te će  prezentirat različite i vrlo zanimljive teme: rad s pijeskom (sandtray), rad s traumatiziranom djecom i poticanje razvoja sigurne privrženosti u odnosu roditelj-dijete, primjena znanja iz neuroznanosti u razumijevanju i radu s djecom. Workshop: Fixations and introjects: An integrating perspective from Transactional Analysis, neuroscience and infant development

In this workshop participants will have an opportunity to deepen the concepts of fixations and introjects from different perspectives. First of all, they will be considered in Berne’s theory, with specific reference to the content of the Ego states. Then more contemporary perspectives coming from new approaches in TA and from neuroscience will be explored, taking into account the brain modifications that happen during the mother–child relationship and the importance of intersubjectivity.
During the workshop attention will be dedicated to the child development in terms of script formation, to have more option in dealing with fixations and introjects.

Teacher:

Alessandra Pierini is a psychologist, psychotherapist, Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst (TSTA-P) of EATA and ITAA.
For over twenty years she has been working with children both in clinical and educational setting.  She is a founder and the co-director of Physis at (a Centre that provides psychotherapy, counselling and training in T.A. in Rome) where she has her private practice with children, adults and groups and where she runs a Master in TA psychotherapy applied to Children. She also works as teacher and supervisor in an Italian Training Institute for TA (Seminari Romani di AT) in Rome and runs workshops in Europe.
She is a co-editor of an Italian TA Journal (Riv. It. Di AT e Metodologie Psicoterapeutiche) since 2002, and member of the TAJ (Transactional Analysis Journal) Editorial Board since 2010.

Workshop: Sandtray and play therapy: basics and beyond

This workshop is a basic sandtray play therapy training. It will cover basics of the brain science behind sandtray therapy and how this relates to working with clients in the sand. Based on the content of this workshop, you will be able to: have a basic knowledge of the history of sandtray, an understanding of the tools needed to work with this method, why and how it works within the brain, and challenges of working with children and adults using this method.

​Trainer: Ashley Garrett, LPC, ED.S., MS, RPT-S, NCC

Ashley L. Garrett is a Licensed Professional Counselor (#2918) with a strong background in working with resistant clients. She is a Registered Play Therapist and Supervisor. She earned her Education Specialist in Community Agency Counseling and a Master’s degree in Agency Counseling from Jacksonville State University. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Samford University. Ashley has special interest and experience in counseling children and adolescents, parents, and families in areas relating to behavior modification, social and coping skills, relationship issues, and trauma. Ashley has experience leading seminars and groups for churches, universities, business, public schools and other interested groups. Ashley is a member of the American Counseling Association, the Alabama Counseling Association (ALCA), Association for Child and Adolescent Counseling, and Association for Play Therapy. She currently serves as Historian of ALCA.

Workshop: Unlocking the Unspeakable: Accessing and Healing Trauma Through Attachment Centered Play Therapy

Through the lens of attachment theory, participants will gain a new understanding of how children and families interact and bond to one another in healthy vs maladaptive ways. We will be exploring how trauma, abuse, and neglect impact the bonds of attachment within the family system and how the power of Attachment Centered Play Therapy can help to heal these wounds.

Participants will spend three days learning new and innovative play therapy techniques including hands on experiential activities, sand tray interventions, and expressive arts.  You will leave with a creative toolbox of tips, techniques, and a clear understanding of how attachment styles impact relationships.

Learning Objectives:

1- Participants will learn how attachment theory applies to play therapy and to view family systems through the lens of attachment.

2- Participants will be able to conceptualize attachment patterns that impact modern parent-child relationships.

3- Participant will learn skills in becoming more competent and confident in engaging parents in family play therapy.

4- Participants will learn effective evidence-based play therapy techniques that can be used immediately with their client populations.

Trainer: Clair Mellenthin, LCSW, RPT-S

Clair Mellenthin, LCSW, RPT-S holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. Throughout her career, she has focused on providing therapy to children, teens, and their families. She is currently the Director of Training and Development at Wasatch Family Therapy.  Ms. Mellenthin is a sought after supervisor, training graduate students and interns in play therapy, and an adjunct faculty member at the University of Southern California MSW program.  She is the Past-President of the Utah Association For Play Therapy and remains an active member on the Board of Directors.  In addition to being an experienced play therapist and professor, Ms. Mellenthin frequently presents professional play therapy and family therapy training and appears on local and national TV and radio as an expert on children and family issues.​
