TOPICS

Peter SCHÜTZ, M.Sc. MBA “Double incest. A focussed NLPt intervention with a family drama survivor.

Sexual abuse by brother and father in Law over a period of 6 years is a heavy load, both for the survivor and subsequently the psychotherapist. Focussing on goals, ressources and relationship it was possible to rebalance the inner pictures and beliefs. And dogs helped 🙂

Mag. Peter Schutz, M.Sc. MBA, is a government certified health psychologist and teaching psychotherapist in Vienna.

Prof. Melita REINER, M.Sc. “NLPt in working with anxiety and panic attacks indivually and in group.

The presentation describes the psychotherapeutic work with three people who suffered from panic attacks and anxiety- a young woman, psychology student, a young man, economy student and a lady in her sixties, retired. All three of them first came to therapy individually and later formed a therapeutic and support group. The presentation encompasses the etiology, “good intention” (supposed systemic function) of the symptoms and different treatment outcomes, which in all three cases consisted of removal of the symptoms and life changes in different areas. Working within the framework of a clearly defined, ecological goal different NLP/NLPt techniques were employed for treating occurring symptoms and memories, within the generative framework of understanding symptoms as agents of personal development and change, growth. The main reason for presenting the three cases together is to provide a comparison between different narratives and dynamics linked with very similar symptoms and also because the end of therapy occurred in all three cases within the group framework.

Prof. Melita Reiner, M.Sc., clinical psychologist, psychotherapist (ECP), NLP&NLPt trainer, transpersonal psychotherapist (EUROTAS), vice-president of EANLPt, director of the Croatian-Austrian Training Center for NLPt in Zagreb, Croatia. Her basic psychotherapy training is in Transactional Analysis and Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy. Main areas of interest in psychotherapeutic work are Resilience and Post-traumatic Growth (PTSG), psychological and spiritual growth through life challenges and crises.

Dipl.-Psych. Birgit Bader “Two stories – working with submodalities.”

Submodality work is a very elegant and easy way changing dysfunctional processes into integrated memories. I will talk about an internal process made by a woman who came to me being anxious because of an operation. Working with submodalities we discovered the story behind the visual submodality. And I will demonstrate working with the tool “prinzipjellows rainbow” – an external way changing problems into solutions. This tool I created for my therapeutical and Coaching work and made a lot of nice, easy, quick, elegant and even sometimes funny ways of solution.

Birgit Bader works as a psychotherapist, coach and supervisor. Her clients are grown up men and women, psychiatric clinics, hospitals, psychosocial institutions, counsellores, nurses, social workes medicins, psychotherapists and freelancers like journalists and so on. Birgit Bader is a trainer in NLP(t) and other disciplines likes provocativ style and other Tools.
