As you might know the EAGT and AAGT are organizing the first joint conference: an exciting experiment where these two associations will meet their similarities and differences and co-create a learning and teaching community.
The conference’s title is “The Aesthetic of Otherness. Meeting at the Boundary in a Desensitized World”. Keynote speakers are Donna Orange, Tonino Griffero and Leslie Greenberg. Of course there will be many lectures, workshops, moments to relax, dancing and fun.
The conference will take place in Taormina, Sicily, one of the most beautiful historical places in the world, a real crossroad of civilizations, from Sept 22nd to Sept. 25th, 2016.
The planning committee is fully engaged to prepare the ground for this event of co-creation and I invite you to participate to this process by attending the conference, submitting a proposal, volunteering to facilitate a process group, and being actively involved as far as you wish.
We also created the possibility of donating for scholarships for people that need financial support, in order to attend the conference, and we are very grateful to people that have the opportunity to donate money for this purpose.
